Has anyone seen a good book on building frames and swingarms. And some decent books on machining.

Tony Foles (not sure of spelling of last name) for frames/suspension.

As far as machining goes you need about a hundred of them, depending on what you actually want to do. Machinery Handbook is the Bible, but you have to know quite a bit before it will make sense to you. Lathe, mill, grinding, or what?

Google Home Shop Machinist and Practical Machinist the check out those two boards, lots of free books available for download as well, especially military machinists training manuals, check out Metalworking drop box (google again) for Army and Navy manuals.

Warning, the owner of the Practical Machinist board has a tendency to delete any threads asking about Chinese machines.
