Anybody have an extra center stand spring that would fit a 78 kz650d or know where I can buy one cheap?
Bikebandit.com wants 7 bucks for one before shipping.

I just took my 650 C2 center stand off, altough I like to keep all original parts. Also should have one from my C3 in a box somewhere.
Should pop up on ebay as mentioned above.

That spring bluemeanie shows there is the correct spring. However the part is superceded by 34023-016 and listed at Bikebandit for $6.93. Should be easy to order.

And once you get your spring you get to use the coin trick to install it.

Bend the spring to create a gap between the coils and insert a penny in the gap. Do this over and over until the spring stretches far enough to fit over the pins. It might take 5 or 6 pennies. Then extend the center stand and the coins fall out.

I love the tips I learned on this forum..;)
