Component weights and measures?

I'm not sure if this is the right location, but I'll trust the moderstors to move it accordingly.

Lots of us are customizing our machines for performance, appearance, or both. One of the things we've all thought about is weight. People, change the heavy stock exhaust for a lighter 4 into 1 design and such things.

In the course of looking for a new project (while my first one still isn't done) I came across some specs for the Yamaha SR500. Some fellow actually weighed all of the individual parts of the bike! This way you can decide if that new titanium gizmo is worth its weight savings...

Of course we could! I'll come over next weekend and we'll take apart your 1000! You have a bathroom scale don't you? :woohoo:

Seriously, that is a cool chart and it would be very interesting to see our KZ440/550/650/900/1000/1100 weighed piece by piece! :cheer:
