Looking for a rear spoked wheel for 82 kz 750 twin
01 Mar 2008 09:00
I'm looking for a rear spoked wheel or a rear hub that would fit my bike. I have mags on the bike now, so if someone out there wants to do a trade that would be cool. Thanks

Hi there, I have a spoked rear wheel from a '78 KZ750 twin. The hub is in great shape, the spokes are fair, and the rim has some tire iron marks and some slight surface rust. It does have a brand new 120 Bridgestone Battlaxe on it though. If you want it with the cush drive I'll sell it complete for $120 plus shipping from Phx. The Bridgestone is a great tire and it has a new tube.

You might want to check the rear axle diameter on your 82 750 twin, it's been awhile since I had one, but if I recall correctly the 82 rear axle has a smaller diameter than the 76-80 models (20mm).

When I replaced my spoke wheels w/mags, on my 82, I had to change my swing arm and use the mag axle and spacers. I beleive I used the spoke axle and mag spacers on the front.
