I am wondering... I have a friend who has a nice front end (fork tubes, triple tree, brake callipers, handlebars w/ controls) off an 83 GPZ750. Will that setup work on my 83 kz 750H? Its a great deal for $100 I think! Let me know, I am anxious to know if I can do it or not.

It's an easy swap, it either bolts straight on using stock GPz750 tapered roller bearings, or it needs the adapter bearings from All Balls, I forget which.

I know that all you need to bolt a GPz750 (83-85) on a KZ650 is the adapter bearings from All Balls, but I think stock GPz750 bearings might work in the 750.

I see. So length and compatibility are good, the only problem I may incounter is missmatched bearing with the races, and there is a kit to solve the problem?

Not exactly a kit :)

You just need to see if the GPz750 tapered bearings and the KZ750H tapered bearings are the same (there is a list in the filebase under KZInformation tab at the top). If they share the same bearings then you're good, if not then you determine the sizes of the bearings, then figure out what sizes you need, then order them from All-Balls.

Very little physical labor involved, just a little research on the interweb and some thinking. :)
