Looking for the seat latch for an '83 GPz1100....does anybody know if the latch from a same year GPz550 or 750 will fit the 1100?

Diapsid...are you looking for the latch that holds the seat (27016-5069) or the stuff attached to the seat? If you are looking for 27016-5069, then it is also found on the KZ1000J1/3, KZ1100B1/2, KZ1000R1/2, ZX1100A2, and ZX550A1/3 but not the 750's.

Checking with www.buykawasaki.com for the part number for your application, then clicking on that number will show you any other numbers used. Click on the yellow question mark, and it will tell you what other vehicles that part also fits. Happy Ebay shopping from there.

Your seat latch
Part Number

I believe the "cancelled" above, means it's no longer available from Kawasaki? Anyone verify this?

It states that part fits the following models only:

McDroid and CoreyClough, thanks. I looked at the parts diagrams on kawasaki.com but couldn't find - I was looking under frame fittings, and seat.
Now I have #s to work with. Thanks again.
