I tried to take the easy way out and put one of those bleeders that makes it easier to bleed the breaks . . .the problem is I broke the damn thing off   Then the extractor bit broke off creating a perfect plug.

Now I cannot get a drill bit to drill a hole out and I used a drenel tool to try and rough up the surface for the drill bit but I just cannot drill a hole through.

So I need to either find out how to get the broken off bleeder out or get a new caliper maybe a modern one??

Thanks for any help you can give me :)

If there's a local machine shop, might take it in for an estimate, as they have sophisticated tools for more precision work (bits, presses, etc.), before deciding to purchase a replacement.

Good Luck! :)

or you could dissolve it out with nitric acid.

I found this in case I cannot get it out . . .I think its a match? The part number is a little different but all the parts that go into it were the same and it had the same design and I figured it would work with my current mounting arm.

I am still going to try and get it out today if I can but I am not going to stress to much unless the replacement does not work.
