kz 550 seat swap

hello, i recently purchased a 81 kz 550 ltd, my question is ,will a kz550 seat work on my ltd?

As a direct bolt on replacement, no. But if you are handy, know how to weld and have enough duct tape anything is possible.....

A & B model KZ550's use a different frame than the C model (LTD) so the seats will not just bolt on. If it's the step in the LTD seat you do not like do a search of the archives here. You should be able to find a few threads where guys have re-shaped the foam and then recovered the seat. Good luck, post pics, ride safe.
