1978 kz 650 damper removal?? fork seal replacement

Cant seem to get the allen bolt to come loose at the bottom of the forks, have tried an impact, i also looked in the manual and said a special tool was neede wondering if there is another way of taking that dnm allen bolt off. Thanks

You really need an decent impact tool to do the job. Also leave the forks assembled until the allen comes loose. Spring pressure from the fork spring will aid you.

Use an air impact wrench...not the hit-it-with-a-hammer kind.
