big time. It had been weeping for awhile but when I went out this morning, there was a puddle under the wheel. Oh well, got out the tool box. I had a spare set of seals. I use a tapered broom stick to hold the innards so I can remove the bolt in the bottom. You guys probably know this but a 1 1/2 diameter plastic pipe makes a dandy tool for seating the new seal. It fits right over the fork. Took me about 3 hours including a good cleaning. Now, all three of my bikes have new seals so I should not have to worry about that chore for awhile......chris3

Congrats! You make it sound easier than it might have been. The first time I did it it took days as I had to hunt down a place that would let me use air tools to break loose the bolt on the bottom of the fork...after that, it was easy.:)

I have new seals for my kz440 but I am a little apprehensive about doing the job. Does anyone know of a tutorial online on how to do this?
