touching base before i make a mistake (reassemble of rebuilt front brakes)

Hi all...

i have finshed a repainting (rebuild) of my 1978 KZ400 front calipers.... (will be using original o-rings/seals and no one carries OME anymore)...

anyway, i have NOT yet reassembled things, but will soon...

What i plan to do is the following (please comment on the logic or lack-there-of):

- clean up all areas where "crush washers" will go (i'm using new ones)

- put old seals (still ok-ish) into caliper

- insert cleaned piston

- insert old pads (they have MUCH life left in them)

- mount mast. cyl. on handle bars

- rout brake lines (original) as appropriate

- reconnect all fittings for brake lines

- mount caliper on forks

- make sure all is "proper"

- TORQUE up all fits per specs

- fill system, bleed

?

does all this sound ok?

thanks...
