Tire Inner tubes? Need quick advice!

I am about to change my old rear tire and was wondering if it is necessary to replace the inner tube with a new one?

I would, just for piece of mind.
It's only a couple of extra bucks.

I never replace mine unless it's bad. I get enough flat tires to have to really never worry about having a tube that's all that old.

I agree with mariozappa... replace the inner tube. But a good quality tube costs maybe $8.00. Be careful not to pinch the tube when you mount the tire (if you're doing it yourself). I've read where some members dust the inner tube with baby powder before they install it.

Won't suffer near as many flats if you'll just watch for and quit running over stop sticks while trying to outrun the cops on your repainted turbo while weighed down with all those non-oem parts and overlubed chain.

Yea, "they" always say to replace the tubes. Many shops won't install new tires unless you also purchase new tubes. Probably a good idea to do since your already in there.
