just wonder has it ever been done?

has anyone swaped swingarm, frontend on a kz550(1982)?

i just pick up a 1991 zx600D lastnight for almost nothing... and should be picking up a 1982 kz550 for around the same price.. going to swap the stuff from one bike to the other.. has anyone tryed different swingarms/frontends on these little bikes?.. if so anyone got any pics?...

got a title and bill of sale with the bike but its way to far gone to try an fix up and resale.. so just going to use it for parts..

RollingStock, Anything can be done, Just depends how much mechanical/fabrication skills you posses, or how thick your wallet is to have it done. Many 650's here have newer swingarm or front end. Your 550 should not be much differant. This was on ebay awhile back.

kool deal thanxs for the reply.. yes this will be the 4th bike iv done this kinda of stuff too.. i was just getting a idea of what it would look like..
