What year GPz750? I can tell you that it would take an awful lot of work to make the 83-85 GPz750 parts fit.

81-82 (I think there was a GPz750 both years) parts might bolt on though.

I second Steell's question...I have a 1982 GPz as a rolling frame right now...it is essentially an E model:whistle:

The 1982 GPZ750 frame is clase to an KZ750E, but you cannot mix and match all body parts. For example, on the GPZ the tank is longer, and the seat is shorter. Also, the foot peg mounts are different (GPZ's are set back more). The KZ750L (a 1983 only model) is identical to the 1982 GPZ in most respects, except for paint scheme.

The 1983 and later GPZ750 has a totally different frame and body parts. It is a monoshock in the rear, and marks the true start of the more modern sport bikes.

I think you are gonna find that the GPZ seat is fairly large, bigger than you might think.

Any suspension update is a good thing in my book. Progressive makes a good off the shelf updated spring that will definitely be better than the 20+ year old springs you have.
