What to do with the turn signal lights when changing handlebars?

For those of you who've changed your bikes bars and the turn signal lights were originally on the ape bars, what did you do with them once the new bars were on?

I'm leaning towards changing mine to Daytona bars, possibly the Euro ones & I don't think there is enough room to mount the signals back on.

Your headlight shell is likely held by two arms mounted on the fork tubes. The shell will then be retained to the arms by a large bolt/nut on each side. Get turn signals that have threaded posts and put the posts through the holes instead of the bolts and put a nut on the backside. The wires for the signals will then be inside the headlight shell for connection to the wiring harness.

My SR had the same turn signals, hung from the bars, I picked up some cool old chromed harley(yes I know I know) signals, and then bought chrome mounts made for them from a custom chrome shop online(harley also sells them)this was you can mount to the upper stanchions. They look very nice and are similar in size to the originals so it doesnt lose the look of the era.

my two cents...

Good ideas...I'd be up for a pic of how yours came out too iandz500. If you can post it in this thread, that would be ideal.

I fabricated some brackets and moved my blinkers to the lower triple clamp bolts.

Those look really good. Those of you who can just 'fabricate' stuff amaze me. I'll need to experiment and see what will work best/look decent.

Yep, ditto. That's how I did it on my 81 650-CSR.
Here's the type of stem I installed: 75mm stem - click!
I also got some dampers to fit the oblong flange. JMK.

JMK - What kind of dampers are you talking about? I'm at the point that I'm going to do this and don't want to not order something that I need. :)
