Need seals with sealed bearings? question answered...

KZ1000A1 kawasaki/enkei cast aluminum wheels (man were they nasty inside the old tires, wire brush and an hour with the emery paper per)

Rear R1007 T16X3.00TL
Front J19MT2.15
Came with a 130/90 on back and a 110/90 on front.

In my price range for 130/90/16 100/90/19 V rated
Dunlop GT501 $206
Bridgestone BT045 $183

right. go with a high quality sealed bearing and forget about the seal....just leave it in for a dust protector. i went with high quality sealed bearings and have no regrets...and no periodic re-greases to worry about. good luck.

Yep. Quality. PO used some cheap sealed bearings and they were shot. Races don't seem to have been hardened properly. Made in China, no brand name.

Now for some tire advice...???

I think the last set of GT501's I bought (in the same sizes) was ~$160 including shipping. Dennis Kirk does price match -$1 so I used MAW (which did not have the tires in stock anyway) to price match at DK.
That was about six months ago.

I put D404s on my LTD and have been perfectly happy. They were about $115.00 delivered for the pair.
