front brake lever?

Does anyone know the interchangabilty for front brake levers? I have an 82 kz550a3, saw a lever for a 81 d1, wondering what and if any other years and models are compatible?

Once you've gotten to the diagrams for your bike and have found the front brake lever, then just click the Parts tab at the top of the screen.
It will take you to a diff webpage where you will see a few search option boxes at the top.
Just enter the lever part number into the Part Number: box and hit the enter key, and it will list all of the models and years of other bikes using that same part number - easy as pie.

But to answer your question, the brake lever for your bike (46092-1010) also fits the following models.

I bought levers for a KZ1100-D1 and they fit my KZ1100-L1 just fine. The 1100-D1 is a Spectre, so they are painted black instead of natural aluminum. I went out on a limb as they were diff. part numbers, but they turned out to be exactly the same aside from the finish.
