Matching up rims

I would like to take a pair of stock rims off of a newer bike and put them on my 76 kz 900. My main concern is the front rim. Could anyone tell me what rims are compatable with the brakes and the bike. I would like to change the rim only not the brakes and the forks.

I seriously doubt that you are going to find a rim off a 1981 or later bike that will fit.

76-79, and maybe some 80 model, KZ rims are all that will bolt on. I think the KZ650, 1000, and 750 twins will probably work,
