i recently put a 33 tooth rear sprocket on my kz900.
it had the original 35 tooth on it. what a difference
in gas mileage!! i went from 2.7 gallons per 100 miles to 1.9! i really don't notice a reduction in bottom end performance either. i really recommend this swap to anyone considering it. i also noticed that my owners manual states a 92 link chain. i "aquired" a 90 link o-ring chain for pennies so i thought i would give it a try. it fit, with the tire all the way forward.
