I want to know which swingarm i can use on my kz 1000 ltd. That I don't have to do to much mofication..I want to put a sportbike tire on it...Also do i have to change the stock front forks. If i change the stock swingarm...

gs1100 suzuki swingarm is a fairly simple swap on a kz900-1000,theres no reason to change the forks unless you reall want to!goodluck,happy wrenching!

you can use the stock hub but youll need to make some spacers,you can put whatever kind of rim wait a sec that probably has mags dont it?i prefer wire wheels myself but you can use a mag if thats what you have!you should be able to run a 140 tire without chain clearance problems depending on how wide your rim is!goodluck,happy wrenching!

GS swingarm good mod. I'm not a fan of the LTD's with the 16"back wheel. Try get hold of an 18"er. Sportier rubber available in 18" I think. 16" back wheel holds more weight for touring. That is why touring rigs use 15" wheels on rear.

you can lengthen your stock arm, i have a stock arm i lengthen just 4inches i'am able to use a 150 tire.
