So I was thinking... lets have a poll. In your opinion, what do you think is the best swap/setup for the KZ, swingarm and fork wise. I dont have any opinion because I haven't done any swap.. yet, but I'm sure you all have your own opinion lol. so lets hear it.

it depends on which kz youre talking about;) on the z1-kz 900 swapping to a stock kz1000 setup is a vast improvement in my experiance anyway:P

Still recovering,some days are better than others.

Also depends on what you're going for... What do you want to do with this bike after the conversion?

1980 KZ750-H1 (slightly altered)
1987 KZ1000-P6 "Ponch"
1979 GS1000 "Dadzuki"

Kinda hard to answer that. Really depends on how you want to use the bike. set up for twisty corner cruisin is vastly different than a drag or pro street set up.stock forks with internal upgrades work well for me for most uses. often different forks (or newer ) offer better braking than comes stock , but again you can modify stock braking to be pretty dam good also. need to know how you want to use it. take care ..jonnybiker
