Steering Dampener?
17 Sep 2007 20:48
Hey guys,
Bought this GPZ 1100 frame a while back and it has this tab welded to the steer tube. Anybody know what it is for? A steering stabilizer? Just curious. If you have any ideas, let me know!
Cheers!

If I had to guess, I'd say it's for the steering lock, not a damper.

Yup definately the steering lock. Depending on what you're using for the upper triple you might need to cut that thing right off.
