Seat question?

Anyone ever tried any of these seat modifications, or have any experience with the cushions? After my last long-distance ride, I would like to make my seat a little more a$$-friendly, but keep the seat style original! Thanks, any info welcome.

I am in the process of recovering my seat, and while recovering I made it into a stepped seat.

My first attempt had an oversized cover, so I have to resew it.

I know a few others have customized their seats, too.
