Another tire question sorry
10 Sep 2007 21:39
Ok so my electrical is pretty much figured out and fixed. Now here is the tire question. Oh yeah it's a KZ550 A2
The Clymer manual I'm using says
Front: 100/90 - 18
Rear: 120/80 - 18
Can I go with a 130/90 in the back or it will not fit. I really don't care that much as I'll be taking the bike apart in about 4 weeks again but for now I need new tires regardless. I'm looking at the cheng shin's cuz they are cheap and no matter how you look at it they are way better then the 10 year old tires on there right now (never changed them since i got the bike years back).
So yeah thats about it. Oh yeah and where do you guys think I should grab them from (Toronto -GTA)...conversly online that ships to canada quick and cheap.
Thanks a mil

I did this with my 250. The only problem i had was the bike center stand rest rubbed against the tire (The rubber part). So i bent the metal away a bit an haven't had a problem since.
