Drag bars - GONE

well saturdaynight i hit the road, didn't know were i was headed but i packed a sleeping and a tent. well i ended up 130 miles away in a small town called Knox, indiana. Well after a 270 mile round trip ride, the first thing i did was put the stock bar's back on my z1. Those drag bars were a bitch after a 270 mile trip.
74 Z1a 900 (Apart and making it better than ever)
77 Kz 650b (Threw a rod, going to sandwich in a 900 or 1000 motor)

Yep, what looks good is not always good.
I guess that's why they are intended for DRAG RACING and not touring;)
1974 900 Z1 modified to look like a LTD , some engine mods. But I still have all the original parts.
1977 1000 project bike

did you just get on your bike with no idea where you were headed? if so i think that is great!,i have always wanted to do that but there was/is always something keeping me from it either no cash or time and all of my bikes are set up for street/drag,you packed a sleeping bag did you camp outside?

That's why I like "Superbike" bars.... for me it's a happy median between stock and humping the gas tank...

ya i just hopped on the bike, i had to get away for a few days, and ya i camped outside
