Advice on buffing and polishing attachments

I have decided to polish the front fork tubes on my KZ since the clear is yellowed and needs to come off. I am feeling lazy and don't want to polish them by hand so I went down to the hardware store and looked at their selection of buffing and polishing attachments. There were quite a few choices and I was unsure what to get. Though I like the store, I don't trust them to give me good advice. So KZ members, what sort of attachments should I get? I have an orbital buffer and a high speed drill. For a different project, I am looking to strip some paint off stainless steel and polishing that as well.
Thanks.

I know the feeling, it has been raining here all morning and other than sitting here typing on the computer and drinking a few beers I haven't done much. Since I read your post I'm thinking it might be a good thing to go out to the front porch and remove and polish up a set of forks on an 81 750 LTD that I have parked there. :pinch: :pinch:

It has been raining here for 3 days now and I think idle hands will work on motorcycles, or something like that. I actually rode to work today (alas, I can type but no beers:pinch: ) and the overcast sky really highlights the yellow clear on the forks. When it is sunny, it is a lot less noticable. Good luck with your forks. I am thinking about taking pictures of before and after when I get around to it.;)
