you might or you might now have to, what type of kz is it? mines an ltd so ill have to get regular kz throttle cables...eventually. if its the standard kz model i wouldnt think youd have to get new cables.

I use cheap SuperBike bars from RideNow Motorsports (f.k.a AZMotorsports.com) - got 'em on the first 750. Got the "Daytona" model for the second 750 for a slightly more (and I do mean SLIGHTLY) stock look.

My cables all sqeezed in for the superbike bars, but I ended up replacing the brake line. For the Daytona bars it all fit nicely.

Just for reference, since I don't know the dimensions of the stock 750E1 (to compare it to the Ltd) bars, I just measured my 650s' bars. The SR measures 29.5" center to center with about a 7" rise and 9.5 to 10" pullback. The 650B measures 31" center to center with about a 6" rise and 9" pullback.

Despite the apparent similarities in the dimensions the 650B definitely feels wider and lower than the SR. The B bars give good leverage although I have not had a leverage problem with the SR.

The 650B feels more "natural" to me since all of my riding years back had been on my KL250 with dirtbike bars.

Just wondering if anybody had a pic of the daytona's on a KZ? if so that'd be cool!

I just looked around, and despite having the Daytona bars on my 750 for all this riding season, I don't have a pic. If you want, I'll try and get one tomorrow...

UPDATE: So I went out in the garage and took some pics. Here you go, 4 pics of the Daytona bars on bike 3. You can see they have a slightly higher rise than Superbikes, and a tad more pull back, but nothing like stock, that's for sure...
