Hey guys, I just ordered a 3-point engine guard for my KZ1000 LTD off of ebay and was wondering what the straight rod was used for. I haven't put them on yet, but just from holding them in place and lining them up I didn't see a clear purpose for the rod and I'm assuming I just missed something. I'm new to this, so I appreciate any help you can offer...thanks guys!
