top motor mount
23 Jul 2007 13:18
does anybody have any shots of a top motor mount kit installed on a 900/1000?im scratching my head trying to reinvent the wheel here but i think it would be easier to just copy the yosh style mount that tied into backbone.now if only i could get the owner of my alltime favorite z1 in gallery to post a picture of his turbo with the tank off so i could see the mount id be set!(magoos bike is really close 2nd!
)

I don't know about your question, but will comment on that yellow motorcycle. :sick: Exactly what I'm talking about when I say how repaints don't look right. Can't get any more not right than that.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

They were called "Head steadys". I dont have a pic, but the ones I have seen looked like 4 long threaded "nuts/spacers" that were mounted to 4 cylinder bolts (in place of the head nuts) near the cam shaft and then a bracket was mounted to the top of the "spacers" and were bolted to the frame. The frame mounts were metal tubes mounted through the frame rail and bolted to the braket.
Hope this helps,
