rear wheel question

I have a 6 over swingarm for my bike but I won't be using it this year. I started thinking I want to ride the bike on the street next year with a street drag tire on it. Not sure if I can use a tube with those tires or if I should switch to a late model cast wheel. I would like to use the spoked wheel but if I can't I can't. Any thoughts on this?

I don't know how big they make tubes these days, you could probably check with a Harley shop as the spoked wheels are probably largest with them. But, if you want sticky rubber you're looking at 17" wheels and most of them are a cast mag and don't need a tube. I have seen some 17" spokers lately but they're on some of the newest street Super Motards.

Possible suggestion: Go with a 17" mag for the time being, and watch out for these new-style supermotard spoked 17s to fit your purpose, if you feel that you'd prefer a 17. Maybe a KTM shop or somewhere can turn you onto a correctly sized 17" tube for the large wheel.

I've seen some 17" spoked wheels in my Streetfighters magazine, but most of those bikes are in Europe...like that helps you, huh?
