Okay- do I need an axle too? was created by CruisingRam
Just got the police forks and triple trees- but no axle. Do I need the axle too because of the extra width of the tree- or is there enough thread to be okay with the 1975 Z1 axle?

you need the right axle.the stock is too short.there are two different axles for the front of the police bikes.78-81 uses part #41068-1005 82 and up use part#41068-1072.hope this helps.
