Ok, I have an 81 KZ1100 shaft. what I want to know is has anyone done a rim swap as the 16" rim just looks real stupid on this bike, I was thinking along the lines of a set of ZG wheels, possible? worth the expence?.. taller tire possible?........ANYONE KNOW?

The earlier KZ1000 shafties used a 17" rear tire although finding one might be a bear. Not sure if it would fit but possibly a rear rim from a Concours is that what you mean by ZG wheels? I'm not up on Kaw's designation for the Concours.
