i have 1977 kz1000a1 and rim size in back is t 16x3.00tl and the current tire on there is m140/90-16. my question is, is that the only size tire that will fit on there. ti currently have dunlap 100/90-19 on front and what to put either 140/80r17 or 150/70hr 17 on there to match tires. someone please give me some help!!!

Well, you are not going to put a 17" tire on a 16" rim, at least not if you want to live very long.
Assuming you have spoked wheels, you could have a 17" rim laced to your hub, but it's not cheap to do.
A 140 is pushing it on a 3 inch rim, if you want a wider tire then I would use a wider rim. I have a 150/?/17 on my KZ750E, but it's on a 4 1/2" wide wheel.
