gpz 1100 uni rear master

The rear master cylinder is shot on my 83gpz 1100 and I am having trouble locating one , just wondering if any one knows if gpz 900 would work ? The distance on the cylinder mounts is 50 mm centre of hole to centre of hole on the 1100 . Has anyone used a non gpz1100 master cylinder too good effect. Many thanks

can you rebuild it?

I think it,s time to replace it , got that rust colour to the fluid that is leaking out and the general look of the thing is rough .Loads of gpz 900 ones on ebay but nothing for 1100 .
