Put fluid in the master cylinder and then put the syringe with the tubing on the bleeder and suck or vacuum the fluid from the master.

vach--if I use the syringe to suck, do I need to tie down the lever?

it doesn't matter if the lines are new it works the same. Draw a bunch of fluid into the syringe, attach it to the bleed nipple, remove the cover from the master so you can watch when the res is full. Open the bleed screw and press on the syringe. Don't press to fast as you don't want to shoot brake fluid out of the res, just keep pressing until the res is full and tighten the bleed screw....your done;)

I'll try it again just as soon as I get back the lines I had to return to Galfer because they leaked. Total mess. Thanks for the tips.

The technique you talked about in your first post works awsome on car master cylinders, I have never tried it on a bike though, usually just use a mighty vac
