Chain / sprocket conversion 525/530 was created by sheik*yerbouti
Reference my build here --> kzrider.com/component/option,com_joomlab...it,20/limitstart,20/

Yes I've done a search. I could probably locate a 530 sprocket but.... read on...

I do not want to go as small as 520, even though 115hp 600SS race bikes use them, they do not make 70ft-lb of grunt like my mildly build 1075 will! Nor do they last 15,000 - 20,000 miles (1-1.5 season of SE Ohio agressive twisty riding...)

I think 525 would be enough meat, plus I have a Motion Pro chain riveter that I have used with great success on my Triumph S4 and SV650 on 525's, but I don't know how it might rivet a 530...?

So anyway, I have always used JT steel sprockets but they only offer stock 630 pitch.

So... Where do I find a 530, or even better, a 525 pitch pair of steel sprockets for my 1981 KZ1000 CSR...? I need a link or part number fellas.

Check out my project link at the top of the post for any relevant info... Expecting 100-115hp at the wheel.

Hey Jason,
Cool to se the bike come together. Z1 enterprises appears to have everything you need z1enterprises.com/catalog.aspx?pid=KZ1000-M1-1981-MP1

I considered 525 as well but you would need custom made sprockets. JT can do 'em for you in aluminum. It'll cost ya compare to off the shelf 530. The difference in weight is negligable compared to the total weight of these bikes. IMO the 530 is a very nice step up from the 630.
Cheers,
