Floorboards?

In the bottom of this photo, the crash bars are attached to a black metal bracket.
Can anyone tell if this is the same bracket that you would attach floorboards from a KZ1000-Police bike, to?
Thanks!

edit: this image attachment is HORRIBLE... the size constraint on linked images is SUCH A PAIN! Who uses "500" as a maximum size? Seriously!

No, the floorboards on the KZ1000P-series are fitted to extra pieces of frame-tubing (diameter about 3/4 inch) that are welded to the lower frame tubes. See the attached picture:
1977 Z1000A1, 1982-1986 KZ1000P (built from two piles of parts), Moto Martin Z1200 (trying to get it registered), 1977 Z650B1
Utrecht, The Netherlands

The KZ 900 and KZ 1000 Police bikes (up to 1981) had bolted on floor boards. The KZ 900 was different than the KZ 1000 floorboards. I would suggest using the KZ 1000 floor boards for other Kawasaki projects as I have found that they will bolt onto just about any Kaw 4 cyl from 1975 and up. I included a pic of a KZ 900 to hopefully show how they are bolted on. Good luck!
