Clutch cable in two pieces?

When I replace the clutch cable, will I need to replace both sections at the same time? Or, can I just replace the upper half? Does the cable come complete with both pieces?

You won't want to take it apart, and Nobody that I know of,will sell just the one half of the casing. They come apart,yes...but that connection is strictly for adjustments.
And it's the cable CORE that You really want to replace anyway.
Just order a new cable and set the old one off to the side somewhere, and keep it for a spare until ANOTHER new one arrives. This way,You won't be down and out, waiting for a new cable.;)
