Rims that will fit 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000a II

it there any other way to make sure that rims will fit on 1977 kz1000a. got chance to get rims from 1978 kz900 i believe and trying to get all possible way to make sure rims will fit my kz1000a
1977 KZ 1075 (FBG), 29 Smoothbores V&H Mega

I'm not sure but if these fit your bike you can have em.. I thought they were from a 77-79 Kz650 but from the looks of the disc mounting bolts I have no clue.. They are from a Kaw though.... ![:unsure: :unsure:](/media/kunena/emoticons/22.png)

The weels in the link are of 80's Kawasaki's, the front wheel is from a GPz and the rear is off a 80's KZ. Tell me the inner diameter of the bearings (axle diameter) and I could tell you what they will fit.
As far as wheels for a 77 KZ1000, 76-80 KZ750 twin wheels will fit front and rear, 77-80 KZ650 wheel will fit the front of the 77 KZ1000.
I think all the 900/1000 wheels up through 79 will fit the 77 KZ1000 also.

The rear is 17mm and the front is 14mm....
FYI, the post (Heavy gearbox "clunk") say's I'm the latest poster.. However I did not make a post in that topic... :blink:
