Top shock mount - KZ550

Hi,

The left top shock mount on my bike just decided to snap on me today.. which f'in pisses me off. I have enough thread left to get a new nut on there, but I'd like to replace the mount.

Does anyone know if it's a thread in, or is it welded to the frame? I can't find an individual part number..the BuyKawi diagram shows the mount as part of the frame, and not as part of the nuts/bolts that go into the frame..am I shit outta luck here?

if its anything like the 900-1000 its welded on both sides of gusset;)

Shit..that sucks.

Is there anything I can do other than having it cut off and welding something back in? I can get an M12x100mm bolt or so, which will fit through the hole in the gusset, but is that strong enough? I'm thinking so, but I'm not sure..
