Go to www.pingelonline.com . Find the section about wheelie bars and they have an area where you can design struts...length, etc.... and they will make them to your spec.s Not sure of the cost but that should be on there somewhere too.

you just need a couple pieces of aluminum the right lenght and drill 2 holes in them. check out your local metal dealer I bet you can get the stuff for $10

Im suprised wireman hasnt jumped in with a pic, I know he has expirience with them. My guess is that you would need 3/8 by 1 by 13 or so inches, maybe longer or shorter depending on desired ride height

I just bought some aluminum struts off of ebay, and the upper thru-holes seem to be too big. Stupid question...is there supposed to be that much "slop" between the thru-holes and the bushings? Or, is supposed to be a slip fit...nice and tight with zero slop?

You're just getting old or are you just a wuss? What do you need kidneys for at your age? Leave the shocks to us young guys! Just be sure to check you have enough clearance at full squat. Figure in rider weight if you have that option. Shocks? We don't need no stinkin' shocks!

I made the bowl turn red once (not from struts).I don't plan on doing it again. With the roads around here it would be a sure bet I'd do it again or the science channel would be doing a documentary about my Killer ASSterROIDS!!!
