Hi all...

over the past few weeks/months i've posted various questions re: my 1978 KZ400 project bike....

the probs i had were:

- front forks were bent (landed a pair off of ebay for a KZ440)

- after i installed those, realized the steering stem was bent as well... (the same guy i got the forks from still had the stem, so i got that as well)

- I used the inner tubes from the KZ440 on the lower tubes of the KZ400 (that i had cleaned/painted prior to knowing the inners for were bent!).

- I used the steering stem from the KZ440 on the fram of the KZ400 (and all seems A-O-K)...

- I then ordered some tires (from Ronayers.com - Dunlop 100/90-18) and put the front one on

- I had cleaned up the rim a while back and checked tire/rim for general alignment (no obvious wobbles - though still have to balance it)

so.... for the 2006-2007 winter "project time" i got a good many things done...

here is a below pic

and here is the after

thanks for all of you help....

i'll fade into the shadows soon (riding season!!!) but will be certain to appear again next winter...

best to all...

have a safe riding season...
