Front sproket problem

I need to change the oil seal behind front sproket, but i have a minor problem. I can´t get the sproket nut open:whistle:
Does it open clockwise or counter clockwise? There is no mention about it in repair manual.

And the bike is kz 1000 police ´80

Here's a recent thread about removing the countershaft sprocket nut. Additional links may be obtained by using the forum search box -- just type in countershaft sprocket nut and press enter on your keyboard. :)

Yes, i know how to use search, i might be new in this forum but not stupid ;)
For some mysterious reason search is not an option for me, because it doesn´t work in my computer. it doesn´t matter what i write in search. i´ll allways get same ansver "Total 0 results found. Search for [ sproket ] with google"
I´just thought that someone has some trick in his sleeve for that nut. Because i´v tried everything(impact wrench, pipe, etc.), exept breaking it.

maybe its because youre leaving out the c in sprocket when you search??
a big impact or breaker bar should take it off. little ones wont cut it.

Just click on the words shown in red. It is a direct link.

The search function is suggested for those interested in additional links.

Let us know if search function problems persist and more direct links are desired to additional threads.

Good luck with the repairs. :)

holy crap kazoo, that's quite a list. funny how lack of spaces turn some text into emoticons:laugh:
sturm, if you want, you could get the google toolbar and it will do spell checks for you if you tell it too. it may help you to get proper searches every now and then once you get the search function to work. even though we know what your saying, the computer might not;)

I doubt that spelling is the problem, as I just did a search for "sproket" and it showed 130+ hits.

I rather suspect it is a software problem with his computer.
