GPz1100 swingarm modification...? was created by Fossil
Wondering if it's reasonable to take 2 or 3mm off the inside of drive side eccentric adjuster and trim the swingarm to match.
The reason I ask is today I was fitting the ZX9R wheel after having the bearing housing machined back to the bearing to reduce width, and machining the sprocket land back 5mm to move it inboard, looks like it's now going to take a little machining on the drive side of the swingarm to center the wheel and I'm going to need a custom caliper mount also. It's not at all as straightforward as Tak made it seem on Lorcan's 750turbo.com site. I measure a 9" opening for my swingarm, Tak says his 750Turbo swingarm opening is 9 1/4". That extra 1/4" would make all the difference, but I would still need a custom made caliper mount.
Frustrating weekend, electrical system took a dump too (I suspect its the highbeam/horn/signal switch).
