Questions on ZXR750 H1/2 (1989-90) front-end.

Hi all,
After reading a lot (on the archives as well) on swapping front-ends, I've decided to go for the ZXR750 H1 or H2 model from 1989-1990. However, I still have some questions:
1 - The steering stem: in the archives I found a post saying it was too long for a Z650. I will be using it on a 1977 Z1000A1, but I believe its steering stem is the same length as that of a Z650. Can anyone confirm that the stem of a ZXR750 will be the correct length (just right as the story goes). I really do not want to swap stems, I just want to exchange bearings to do the swap.
2- Does anybody know the diameter of the disc-brakes on a ZXR from the year. I want to retain my front wheel, and need to know what this means for lining out the calipers/discs.
3 - I've been eyeing this set of discs. They are Brembo Gold series, and the pattern matches: 4 holes, M10, 78 mm center-center![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
One problem though: the center is 62mm, whereas the standard discs have a 58mm hole in the center. What do you think? Will that be a problem?
Thanks!
