1984 kz700 brake shoes/pads was created by 84kz700

Well it is about time for a brake pad replacement on the ole' kz700, the local kawasaki dealer wants $50 a set and i need 3 sets, I was wondering if their was a place online that may be cheaper or is this about as cheap as it gets?

I think your pads are the same as on the KZ750 E & H models (which in turn are used on many of the KZ1000P models). If so, I see these on eBay all the time for under $20 per set. You could also try on-line at Z-1 Enterprises.

PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.

This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.

Yup,
Jeff at Z1enterprises.com, or e-bay. 50 bucks a set? MAN If your not installing them yourself find a reputable indpendant shop. Thats a crazy price for JUST pads.
