Z1000J Brakes onto Z1?

Will the Z1000J's brakes and discs fit without modification to an original Z1 or KZ900 front forks?

Anyone tried it?

The brake rotors/disks won't bolt up without some serious mods, totally different mounting style. Yours has four bolts on a fairly small circle that bolts into the center of the hub, the J disks bolt to the outside edge of the hub, and have six bolts if my memory is correct.

I have a j and have spent some quality time with the calipers. These are quite different to what I had on my old Z1A
