Dual front disk conversion.
19 Mar 2007 13:17
How hard would it be to do a dual disk conversion on a kz550? My dad did it on his old Honda 400/4 many years back and he said it was easy cause the other fork leg was all ready predrilled for it. Is it like that on a 550?

The first thing You would have to do,is see if the other fork has a place to mount another caliper to.I don't know if they are reversible and I also don't know if Your front hub will have another set of rotor bolt-holes...You'll have to start there and see.

Or you could find a set of forks off a KZ750R1...they come with dual discs already and you should only need the fork legs. you might as well get the entire bake setup as well...
