Clutch cable routing...??

OK....got rid of my clubman bars and installed superbike bars. Before clubmans, I dont remember this kink at the handlebar adjuster......

I'm almost dead certain I routed it all back as before....(I hadda take cable off cause I FORGOT to get it under the pipe and it was rubbing...DOH!!:pinch:)

The cable, as routed now....hits the gauge cluster no matter which way I route it. Another pic....

Ideas? Pics of yours, maybe?? That kink has GOT to go.......

those superbike bars are shorter than stock bars.id say either reroute your cable or maybe try some shorter cables,i think a z1r clutch cable is shorter;)

Did you try going down through the centre of the triple tree? Its the way my cable is routed, doesn't bind and works fine.

No....just thru or around headlite mount. But will give that a shot right after heart-start treatment.....a.k.a. coffee;)
