Seat Pan Differences

I was wondering if there is any difference in the seat pan's from a 1977 Kz1000 LTD and a 1977 Kz1000 standard??? Also what year 900 seats will fit a 77 1000??

I am asking because I am looking to change the seat on my bike which has a LTD style seat on it now (with a crappy seat pan) and I want to put a flatter style seat with a small step up at the back...I really just need a seat pan and I am going to shape the foam and have it recovered..

There is no difference in the pan from a standard to an LTD. The only 900 seat that is a direct swap is the 1976 KZ900 or 900 LTD.
